Steelers vs. Bengals Preview
With $250 in bonus bets, there’s plenty of ways to tackle these NFL Week 16 games, but let’s dial in on the first matchup — one that carries significant postseason implications.
The Bengals and Steelers appear to be two teams headed in different directions. In was just a month ago the news of Joe Burrow’s season-ending injury looked to put an end to the Bengals’ season. Not so fast. Behind Jake Browning, Cincinnati is on a terrific run and is currently positioned to make the AFC Playoffs. Following a fantastic comeback win a week ago, they are now favored on the road against the Steelers. The Bengals, however, are without star wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase in this one, but will it matter?
The Steelers simply cannot score. A dismal offense has ruined a promising start, and Pittsburgh is in the midst of a three-game losing streak in which they’ve scored just 41 total points. In fact, the Steelers haven’t won since Nov. 26 — when they knocked off the Bengals.
Currently, the Steelers are a three-point underdog at home against the Bengals, and we’re willing to back them in this spot. While Browning has been fantastic, asking him to go on the road against a quality defense without his top playmaker — in what is a must-win spot for the Steelers — is a big ask.
