Assembly Ball advances to regional final with 68-55 win against Men of Mackey in TBT
Assembly Ball advanced to the regional final of the Butler Regional in the TBT with a 68-55 win against Men of Mackey on Sunday night at Hinkle Fieldhouse.
Former IU guard Yogi Ferrell was one of four Assembly Ball players to score in double figures, finishing with 13 points, five rebounds and four assists.
Kristian Doolittle (Oklahoma) led the Assembly Ball with 14 points and seven rebounds and Julian Gamble (Miami) had a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds. Former LSU guard Keith Hornsby also had 12 points for Assembly Ball.
Among former Hoosiers, Miller Kopp had seven points in his TBT debut, while Race Thompson added five points and three rebounds. Juwan Morgan had two rebounds in limited minutes. Devonte Green and Jordan Hulls both went scoreless.
With the win, Assembly Ball advanced to play Eberline Drive on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. at Hinkle Fieldhouse.
