Report: Indiana to host Sam Houston State as part of 2024-25 non-conference slate
Indiana will reportedly host Sam Houston State as part of its non-conference slate for the 2024-25 season.

According to the report, the game will take place at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall on Tuesday, December 3.

Sam Houston State, a member of Conference USA, finished last season 21-12 and No. 142 in KenPom. The Bearkats lost to UTEP in the second round of the Conference USA tournament.
Bart Torvik’s projections for next season currently have Sam Houston State at No. 106 nationally. The Bearkats return leading scorer Lamar Wilkerson.
Sam Houston State is the fourth confirmed non-conference opponent – outside of the Battle 4 Atlantis – for Indiana next season.
Indiana leads the all-time series with Sam Houston State 1-0. The Hoosiers beat the Bearkats 99-45 on November 15, 2012 in Bloomington.
The Hoosiers will host Eastern Illinois on November 10 at Assembly Hall and South Carolina on November 16. Indiana will also host Chattanooga, but the date for that contest has yet to be confirmed.
Indiana will play three of the following teams at the Battle 4 Atlantis: Arizona, Gonzaga, Louisville, Providence, West Virginia, Oklahoma, and Davidson.
Battle 4 Atlantis takes place November 27-29 at Paradise Island in the Bahamas.
