Juwan Morgan named second team All-Big Ten by media, coaches
The Big Ten Conference released the annual All-Big Ten teams this evening live on the Big Ten Network and two Indiana players were recognized.
Junior Juwan Morgan earned All-Big Ten second team honors as selected by the league’s coaches and media. Senior Robert Johnson was named honorable All-Big Ten by the coaches.
The All-Big Ten first team as selected by the coaches: Michigan State’s Miles Bridges, Nebraska’s James Palmer Jr., Ohio State’s Keita Bates-Diop, Penn State’s Tony Carr and Purdue’s Carsen Edwards. The media’s All-Big Ten first team: Bridges, Bates-Diop, Carr, Edwards and Wisconsin’s Ethan Happ.
Bates-Diop was named the Big Ten player of the year by the coaches and the media. Jaren Jackson of Michigan State was named the Big Ten freshman of the year by the coaches and the media.
