Film Session: Michigan
Michigan made a concerted effort to keep the ball out of Kel’el Ware’s hands in the second half by fronting him as he worked for position inside. It worked, as Ware made just one shot through the first 19 minutes of the half in Tuesday’s 78-75 win at the Crisler Center.
But Ware was able to have the last laugh. Out of the left short corner, a skip pass he threw while he was double-teamed resulted in a key Trey Galloway bucket. And when the Wolverines weren’t able to stop him from getting the ball with under a minute to play — and also chose not to send help — Ware made them pay by hitting a big bucket to put Indiana up for good.
