The 6-foot-9 Page, ranked the No. 47 player nationally by the 247Composite, is among Indiana’s top recruiting targets in the rising senior class.
Inside the Hall spoke with Page to get his thoughts on the trip to Bloomington, where his recruitment currently stands and much more.
Our full Q & A is available below:
On what stood out from the visit:
“The fanbase is a lot … Everybody there is an Indiana Hoosiers fan.”
On getting a chance to spend time with the staff and players:
“Their whole team is family based. Everybody is close to each other.”
On spending time with Mike Woodson and what his relationship is like with IU’s head coach:
“He’s a good dude, real genuine. He has a lot of experience as just a basketball player in general. I learned that you’re going to make mistakes, but it’s how you respond to it that matters.”
On the facilities at IU:
“They were good. But every school is going to have that.”
On which players he spent time with on the visit:
“The freshmen. They went out to eat with me. I’ve played against a lot of them.”
On his relationship with Yasir Rosemond:
“He’s been real up front with me and always shot me straight. I respect that a lot.”
On what’s next and his upcoming plans recruiting-wise:
“I’m just going to get in the gym and get better. I’m probably going to cut my list down soon. I couldn’t give you a date, but it should be soon.”
