Film Session: Army
Through two games, Indiana’s defensive 3-point attempt rate of 58.5 percent (3PA/FGA) ranks 349th in the country. FGCU and Army shot 72 3-pointers combined against the Hoosiers.
While Indiana had 3-point defensive struggles in the halfcourt due to poor communication, help and switching against Army, transition defense was also an issue at times, as Indiana failed to locate shooters and the Black Knights got open looks. Indiana also let Army rebound 31 percent of its misses and score 14 second-chance points. Through two games, Indiana’s opponents are rebounding 32.4 of its misses, putting Indiana 232nd in that category so far.
