Indiana is a No. 11 seed in the latest ESPN bracketology for the 2023-24 season
The transfer portal recruiting season is still in full swing, but ESPN’s Joe Lunardi is already making projections for the 2023-24 season.
Lunardi has Indiana among nine Big Ten teams in his projected field for the 2024 NCAA tournament field.
Indiana is a No. 11 seed in the East Region opposite No. 6 seed North Carolina. The Hoosiers are listed among the last four teams receiving byes along with Oregon, Illinois and Boise State.
The other Big Ten teams in the early projections include Michigan State (No. 1 seed), Purdue (No. 2 seed), Maryland (No. 6 seed), Wisconsin (No. 7 seed), Illinois (No. 10 seed), Rutgers (No. 10 seed), Ohio State (No. 11 seed) and Michigan (No. 12 seed).
The SEC and Big 12 both have seven teams projected to make the 2024 NCAA tournament field by Lunardi, the Big East has six and the ACC has five.
