Probably best-suited for the 6th man for the sake of being able to bring him in off the bench and have a stabilizing ability. Brings energy, drives (you can’t friggin’ stop the guy from getting in the lane and now he’s even stronger,) plays defense, rebounds pretty well for his size…I say take that 22 off him and give him 0 because he is this season’s sophomore/junior year Will Sheehey

IMO … I say we’ll see several starting lineups depending on who we’re playing, and I think we’ll see them out of the 8 players Forever listed as putting in 20 minutes a game (Except I would add Max). And we even go deeper!! It does look like we’re going to wear down other teams with our running and depth.

I was surprised he didn’t start, and surprised he only got 17 mins a game. I know RJ is good, but Stan brings more size, rebounding and penetration. Actually, last year I had the impression that if he only develops a perimeter game, he’ll be pretty much unstoppable, because he is already so good at getting to the rim and drawing fouls. I just hope CTC sees that too, because at 17 mins a game on this team, if I were him I’d get frustrated and probably consider a change of scenery …

Yogi, Stan, Troy, Devin, Hanner, Nick, James, Robert … any of these guys can easily put in a quality 20 minutes a game. Is this the deepest a team has been under CTC? If Emmitt can put in 15 mintues, we’re even deeper.

A starting 5 is just not important to this Indiana team. Stan is a really good player for IU and he must be on the floor 20 minutes +/game. He is one of the keys to Indiana’s success this season. Coming in as a 6th man he brings exactly what you want: energy , toughness , immediate impact on the game, defense, mature understanding of how IU wants to play, scoring , etc. I really like his game!

Stan can have a great year. He needs to be able to be 70% or better at the line because 1) that’s where his driving game is designed to put him 2) it will allow him to be on the floor late in a close game when IU will need his defense.
