Give the kid a chance prove himself before making a comment like that

Cardinal hit some big perimeter shots too. I could deal with a player being a rugged player, if that is his niche; it was the jersey he wore and his ability to make big shots that made me hate him.

Hell i’d take that in a minute altho he’d have to attend thug school. Brian C made millions with a long career in the pro’s..tell me THAT was expected. Quality long range shooter and a banger..all he needed.

I think Hartman’s more of a perimeter guy than Cardinal, though, isn’t he? Cardinal was a banger–should’ve played at Wisconsin.

I remember seeing him play against Crawford County and he threw down a nasty reverse dunk. I also remember his senior year against Jeff–if I remember correctly at the end of the 3rd quarter he had 25 and they were down by 7. At the end of the 4th he had 25 more and they won.

Well he hasn’t really had the luxury to do so be a lack of depth. Did he do it at Marquette?

I would really like to see IU start pressing some and use all of these good players. play 8 to 9 kids, press, where down those big physical teams like WI and MSU. MSU maybe a little quicker this year, but player’s like Nix would have had trouble with a press.

Everybody is entitled to their opinions. But I wouldn’t write him off before he even starts his career. Players learn and develop, no reason he can’t be a contributed to this program. Not every player is going to be the do it all 5 star recruit you need role players as well.

I think he would have a chance to play but IU is loaded up at the three position. I think between Will, Troy and AE they will take up most of the playing time at that spot. Be nice if he can play at the 2 spot and float around for some three’s.

I always thought of Pat as more of a finesse type player and Randy more physical inside. But your comments jogged my memory and didn’t he play for like a year and a half with some type of foot injuries? Still a very good player. He is a southern Indiana kid, watched him play many times in HS.

Maybe you should let the kid participate in his first college practice before making a post like that.

I actually agree with you. Collin may be a very good option for a red shirt season. Especially when we think about the ramifications of having a 6 player freshman class. If we think that Vonleh may leave as early as next season, and Williams may have the talent to leave as early as 2 seasons away, we would begin balancing the recruiting classes out a lot better. Instead of having tremendous pressure to bring in starters as freshman, we can look for players that are willing to develop and be four year guys, while still taking some shots at the top players here and there.

Pat Graham may have been Randy Wittman if he wouldn’t have developed the foot problems. Dude could do everything in high school but injuries robbed him.

He is bigger than Randy isn’t he? Wasn’t Randy about 6′ 4″ or was he 6′ 5″.. I’m pretty sure Collin is bigger, but gosh, it’d be great if he turned out that well. He just might. He appears to have the heart for it. We’ll just have to see how he produces. I hope he does for sure.
