With Mo and Vic being from the area, do you think this will positively or negatively impact Vic’s game? Or does it even matter?

Mo doesn’t play much, so I doubt it’s a factor there unless we need a shooter against the zone and he returns to form magically from the high of being near home.

We don’t play until late on Thursday night and the Temple game ended before 5:30.

As for the “they were able to watch our game”….IU has film and by now, we have watched their games against Montana, Cal, Louisville, Temple (whom they lost to). Them being able to watch the game live gives them no advantage at all.

Pitt has owned Syracuse for years going back to his days there. I hear howland needs work.

Also, watch out for scalpers with counterfeit tickets. Unfortunately, an agency may be the only way to go to be safe.

Agreed! It’s TV dictating.

You’re right! In ’76, in Philly, I only had a ticket to the first game. After Rutgers lost in their semi, I went outside and immediately found a student selling for face value. Thus, I was able to see us win our title in ’76!

It is definitely open to the public but you won’t get close to the players on the court during practice. Your best bet would be to try and get close to the team bus as the players board to go back to their hotel after practice. I don’t know which hotel they are staying at but that would be another option.

And if Hoosiers prevail, Cuse fans are hitting the road and giving them away.

There’s also Criagslist – but make sure to meet in a very public place, there are scams there too.

Check out stubhub. I think you won’t get scammed there. I was looking at Saturday tickets because Thursdays game is so late (Yes, I’m an optimist), and prices are better that they were last week I think. Still not cheap. Keep in mind most of the tickets include a hospitality package, which is I think $252 per ticket strip (both sessions) so I don’t know if you’ll find much value out there.

I’m planning to take my kids on Wednesday. If you have gone before, do you have any pointers or tips to get close and possibly even meet players? Or do they keep you far away? Also, will it surely be open to the public? I’m planning to take my kids, but if we go and can’t get in for some reason I will have some disappointed kids. My son would love to get close or even meet a player or 2. Thanks in advance for any advice.

There will be plenty of guys out there selling tickets…but there are a lot of scams. I live 2 blocks from Verizon, and I’d advise you to be very careful if you go the scalper route.
