Didn’t realize how great I was going to feel after the draft, and this article is the icing on the cake. For me, last night really took the sting out of how the season ended. The program is in good hands folks and that sixth banner is coming. Here’s to history repeating itself, with IU winning the year after UofL.

Coach Crean has caught a lot of slack for a variety of things (as any high profile coach does); reading through his comments makes me all the more grateful that he is the IU basketball coach. His passion for his players and the game is palpable.

Would love to see Wat coming off the bench knocking down those threes for the Pacers. I really hope he can get on here. Pacers have some bench spots they are going to need to fill and I think Wat will get a great shot to be one of those guys.

This writeup was great. I know Coach has a love for these two kids, especially Vic. The way they embraced after the UM game with Coach telling him that their time together was coming to an end but that he would always be a presence in Victor’s life going forward for whatever he needed, I think it shows what kind of Coach we have, what kind of person Vic is, and what kind of relationship they had and still have. He cares about that kid like a father.

I think the Charlotte fans that booed Cody at their draft party will look back on that soon and say to themselves that was stupid of us. Cody plays hard and he’s a good teammate and good in the community. Doesnt hurt that he has a tremendous upside as well. They will love themselves some Cody Zeller pretty quickly I think. Was just a great night for IU basketball last night. Going to miss all of those guys. But now a new crop of kids get to look at what they can accomplish with hard work at Indiana. That’s got to be a tremendous motivator.
