idk if I see Eric Gordon because Gordon was a rare combo of speed and strength…he was a streaky shooter but not great, even though he had unfathomable range. When he was hot he could stroke, but I see E’twuan Moore in him with his quick first step and body type

IF he did come I would guess we could start 4 freshman. Yogi at the 1, Gary at 2, Jeremy at 3, Hanner at 4, and then Cody at the 5. Or, perhaps Peter at the 5 and Cody at the 4. Either way Cody starts.

Hope CTC is saving his best sales pitch for GH cause if he comes to IU he makes a big impact, and starts right off the bat, even with who we will already have and even with who will come in with him. IMHO he is that good and people that say we don’t need him are just positioning to keep themselves from having a major letdown if we don’t get him. Can we still be an improved team and win more games even if we don’t get him ? More than likely, yes, but with him, we are almost assured to be a vastly improved team and should win several more games and then there is the little thing of making everyone else work harder in practice to be able to get their minutes. He is capable of taking us from being a lot better to being a whole lot better and maybe more importantly contenders for at least B10 titles. Again JMO

I don’t think he has the same game as Gordon. He is lankier, and I don’t think he is as quick as Eric. The shooting range for EG was a huge part of his game, and it enabled him to make defenders stretched out. I would definitely take Gary Harris on the team any day, but I am not sure what he brings that we are not already getting in this class.

I see some similarities to Gordon in his game too. Defenders had a ton of difficulty keeping Gordon out of the paint, and it seems like that is GH’s strength as well. Harris, at least right now, isn’t in the same league as Gordon in respect to shooting and range, but I’m assuming he will improve in that area.

The thing is that while we’d all love another shooter, the ’12 to ’14 teams are going to have quite a few good shooters (Hulls, Hollowell, Creek, Blackmon, etc) we don’t have a ton of guys who can get to the paint at will. I’d love to have him!!

wow…kid can get anywhere he wants to….smart quick and athletic…special player – fits CTCs system perfectly….have wade give him a call…with yogi, harris, and CZ on the floor with HP would be a bit of heaven for IU hoops…

At the.:35 second mark Gary drives hard to his left, dribbles through his legs while driving, spins moves and finishes with a nice lay in. There might be a handful of guys in the nation that are SG that can do that with ease. Gary is one of them and none of those guys are on the current roster at IU or have committed to IU.

Gary’s driving ability with Yogi’s would make for a tandem unmatched in 2012.
