Yogi is obviously going to be a star at IU, but that doesn’t mean we should neglect to fill out this position during his time at IU, no matter how long or brief it may be. 

I think Jackson would be a great addition to the roster.  At the very least, he provides a quality backup option at PG.  At the best, he ends up being a player that CTC realizes he wants on the floor far more often than he wants to sit next to him, and we have one of the fastest, best ball-handling backcourts in the Big Ten.

I think the real question boils down to which point guard from 2013 will be okay with coming off the bench for Yogi for 3 years.

I like Yogi very much and think we are incredibly fortunate to have him.  He likely will be one of the more important pieces in us coming back.  However, I highly doubt he leaves early for the NBA.  Check and see how many guys are in the NBA at or near 6′.  Its very few.  Not saying he can’t do it but you have to be unreal.  Like damn near player of the year good (i.e. Kemba Walker or Jameer Nelson).  This selfishly plays to our benefit if we were to have a 5 star pg for 4 years tho.

After looking through all of the ITH prospect vids, I have to say I am officially more excited about Jeremy Hollowell than anyone coming in after Cody. No one looks more prepared for the college game IMO.

He can spot up, pull up, drive with authority, plays with his back to the basket, rebounds. The defense will come. All of this talk about his hunger, emotions etc, I could care less. He will be just fine.
