I was just kidding. I actually had a really good time there back in August when we traveled for our fantasy football draft. Well, my friends all told me I had a good time—I don't remember a lot of it.

@ plane1972 – thanks, I haven't done much research on him… that would explain his desire to leave. i know some may not want this kid due to him leaving two schools already, but sometimes life happens and it takes awhile to find the right fit, whether he tries to walk on at IU or not.

Most likely because Brad Brownell took the Clemson job. I'm sure Brad was the primary reason he chose Wright State.

About the Dayton comment…while Dayton has some issues like lots of rust-belt metro areas…it does have lots going for it. Fine recreational areas, Metro Parks, a thriving music scene, great drinking water!! It doesnt compete head-to-head with Columbus OH, Cincy, or Indy…in some arts and civic arenas…and in professional sports. Found a video of him at Warren. Looks pretty solid, would love to have him as a walk-on. He was a 4-star recruit at O$U.
From the video it looks like he plays pretty solid D and is athletic

+And Danny Moore won't be spelling our guards any more…..as much as I appreciate Daniel's effort, every time I saw him enter the game it really spoke to our lack of quality depth last year at the guard position. I know everyone thinks we are so guard heavy, but we're just as tall as OSU was last year.

I think this would be a very good things....
+ Provides some leadership and experience
+ An Indiana kid who is hungry to prove something
+ More competitive practices and will push some players
+ Doesn't use a scholly.....

B4 Offutt got hurt in high school he was a high level recruit for the Buckeyes. Rivals have him compared to the likes of Mike Rosario from Rutgers/Florida and Klay Thompson at Washington State. Any player that at one point was compared to these players is someone I can deal with.

I did some research via Titus's blog. Offutt has a nickname: Walt Disney. He also doesn't like to be stuck in elevators.

None of this is productive, but I can't say I would have a problem with him being on the team. I think it would be a very good thing.

Well, if he won't be taking up a scholarship he could only help, right? I think he probably figures the best opportunities for playing time will come either here or at Ohio U so I bet he selects us or them… I'm a Warren Central grad as well, so I kind of like him already.

Boy we are sinking pretty low to get pumped up over a kid who doesn't even require a scholarship. He might not even pick us, ha....

Another guard, at least he will have plenty of people to identify with on our team.

This recruiting process is interesting to say the least.
