Indiana women’s basketball listed as a No. 4 seed, No. 15 overall in tournament committee’s top 16 reveal
The selection committee for the 2024 NCAA women’s basketball tournament revealed its current top 16 teams Thursday night.
Indiana, 21-3 overall and 12-2 in the Big Ten, currently sits as a No. 4 seed and the No. 15 team overall according to the committee. The top 16 teams in the field serve as hosts for first and second round NCAA tournament games, which means Indiana is currently on track to host games in Bloomington.

According to the NCAA, “the top 16 teams announced during both reveals have no bearing on the final 68-team field for the 2024 NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Championship that will be announced during the NCAA Women’s Basketball Selection Show on Sunday, March 17 at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN.”
