Indiana Basketball Transfer Portal Watch List: April 9, 2024
We’re now 22 days into the 45-day period for entering the transfer portal. The list of prospects who have mentioned Indiana continues to add names and visits will begin happening later this week.
Of note: A dead period for recruiting began Thursday, April 4 and runs through Thursday, April 11. Here is the definition of a dead period, per the NCAA: A dead period is that period of time when it is not permissible to make in-person recruiting contacts or evaluations on or off the member institution’s campus or to permit official or unofficial visits by prospective student-athletes to the institution’s campus.
As was the case with our update over the weekend, we’ve split today’s watch list into two tiers. The first tier is prospects that IU is believed to have significant interest in or has set up a visit with and the second tier is a list of those who have mentioned IU, but the interest beyond that is unclear.
