Did you watch any IU games this year? Please watch Zeller drive to the basket, draw the foul, and make the basket to go. It happened nearly every game/every few possessions. While you’re at it, look up FG% stats along with “best big man who can run the floor” comments.

Not sure if you’re a troll or not… so I’ll spare you further insult to injury. Best do research before posting on a message board full of knowledgeable IU fans.

How sad to see ‘marginal’ players entering the NBA draft. Zeller isn’t ready and he will continue to be pushed around by players with strength and mobility. He is too slow, can’t hit the outside shot, has bad hands, and cn’t endure the 80+game schedule.
A good way to handle those players who are willing to listen to those who won’t be the ones to suffer the consequences of ‘bad decisions’ is to have clauses in a college recruits’ agreement: They must repay ALL monies associated with the scholarships they recieved while at the school. Remember, that athlete filled a position another may have gotten and completed. There MUST be a punishment for the athlete who leaves early which is a lesson in responsibility as an adult. It is past time people learn about honoring their commitments they make!!!

Avid IU fan living in NC after retiring from the US Army. Tough area to be an IU fan. Too many Buckeye fans, let alone the ACC and SEC. I love wearing my sweatshirt with all the IU National Championships and the picture on the back of the National Champs and undefeated team. GO BIG RED.

Actually zeller is still the highest rated recruit still for iu, u can’t go by that stuff, look at olidipo and sheehey, just ridiculous u csnt measure a kids heart or work ethic. Michael Jordan and Larry bird and most greats just didnt pocess greatness, lots if heart and tons of practice

With 5 locked up and I am predicting Zeller staying 4 years(unlikely but possible given family history), we are gonna need something drastic to happen to be able to sign all of these guys plus either Vonleh or Anya, hopefully. I just wonder how Indiana expects to do that but it will always work out.

How is this class supposed to be 5 or 6 players. Even if Cody goes to the NBA that only frees up 4 scholarships. Don’t get me wrong I would love to snag two of these guys left, but how. Unless somebody has already told Crean they are planning to transfer after this championship run or somebody is planning to pay their own way.

Cody is gone..and if Creek doesn’t show something this year…and gets a degree..ex[pect him in some staff position. No way can IU keep him on scholarship another year without jeapordizing the future of the team. Sorry ..there it is.

I don’t know who or how many people they think we will lose, but with Robinson, we are already oversigned by 1 for 2013. Say we get BJA and another one of these top 50 guys, do we withdrawal offers for Hartman & Davis? I don’t want to be another UK, but when these 2nd tier guys commit so early, doesn’t that count us out on some of the top players who all seem to wait until the end to commit? Right now, only 7 of the top 25 for 2013 are committed, and 0 of the top 5. I don’t want us to get a bunch of one & done players, so I guess I really don’t want to see most top 10’s.
