Today’s block busting news revealing the secret loans to players from the FBI investigation evidence. I see a couple teams or players mentioned that carry some importance for Indiana fans. Both Vanderbilt and Kansas have players who received “extra benefits”. Indiana or any of it’s players were nowhere in this report! Now if you were Romeo Langford where would you go? With many schools having a dark cloud hanging over them, Indiana is clean and has a bright future. I would not pick Vandy just to play with a friend if they may be prohibited from the NCAA tourney. As far as Kansas they are mentioned in more serious violations. It’s your choice Romeo!

Is the staff looking at any other guards besides Romeo? I know Archie has said he doesn’t feel the need to use all available scholarships but if we don’t get Romeo that only leaves us with three guards on the team next year.

I do not think we get Darius or Romeo. I think Romoeo will go to a contender and unfortunately that is not Indiana.

If we get both Romeo and Darius, it would be a great combo and make us a contender. They would most likely be one and done players, but it would give Phinisee time to improve his game as a sub and be ready for his next year

hello Alex! In the early years of ITH, you would show recruiting a few years out. 2018/19/ and some cases 2020 as an example. the last few years you are only showing the next signing period. Is there any particular reason you have stopped with “future” recruiting classes. I am interested in 2019/20. I realize we have had a coaching change over. Anyway of bring future interest back?

Romeo is One and Done wherever he Goes-Great Player

With the recent troubles at Louisville, Romeo has dropped UL from his list. Crystal Ball has Indiana as a strong leader for Romeo. He along with Darius will attend Hoosier Hysteria. They may commit after that, since UL was reported to be his choice before the FBI spoke. However Romeo has said he would commit in the spring. If he sticks with that timeline so be it. He has a spot at IU and he’s from Indiana and he knows we want him. Still waiting on the NCAA and UNC decision after that the world of college basketball will turn to the FBI investigations. I strongly expect to see several big name coaches being terminated before this is over. If the investigation misses UK it hasn’t cleaned out the cheating in recruiting. As a perennial violator of NCAA recruiting rules they are the #1Nike sponsored program and are surely doing the same things. Someone must spill the beans on UK.
