Future Indiana guard Gabe Cupps to play at New Albany on Thursday, December 29

Future Indiana guard Gabe Cupps will play a game in Southern Indiana next winter.

New Albany athletic director BJ McAlister told Inside the Hall on Monday that the Bulldogs will host Gabe Cupps and Centerville (Ohio) on Thursday, December 29 at the Doghouse.

Junior Varsity will tip at 6 p.m. ET with the varsity game to follow.

Cupps averaged 14.3 points, 6.8 assists, 2.5 rebounds and two steals as a junior and was awarded the Mr. Basketball award in Ohio.

Cupps led Centerville to 45 straight wins, including a state championship in 2021 and a runner-up finish in 2022.

The four-star guard committed to Indiana on November 16, 2021.
