Class of 2023 four-star prospect Jakai Newton will announce his college decision on Friday, October 22.

Newton, the No. 43 player in the country according to Rivals.com, recently completed a junior year official visit to Indiana.

The announcement is expected to come at 3 p.m. ET on CBSSports HQ.

Indiana doesn’t have any players committed in the class of 2023, but has a trio of class of 2022 commits in CJ Gunn, Kaleb Banks and Jalen Hood-Schifino.

Newton has offers from Alabama, Auburn, Cincinnati, Clemson, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Ole Miss, Vanderbilt and Xavier.
