Is anyone else bummed out about — and questioning the sanity and possible threat to kids’ health — re these insane schedules that have teams playing games with no more than 48 hours rest? We play our hearts out at home — against Purdue and, on Saturday v MSU. Then, less than 2 days later, we’re on the road, tonight in New Jersey? Last week in Columbus? Team doctors. Players’ faculty advisers think this is healthy for body and soul? Seriously?

4-2 now Next 6 look rough but the last 6 still look much easier except now for the game with OSU but it’s at home so that’s a bonus and we’ll hopefully be better at that point. Say we’re 7-5 going into the last 6 I can steel see 12-6 overall and hopefully 11-7 on the low end. We’re 11-7 now so 11 big ten wins gives us 7 more wins for 18-12 overall going into big ten tourney. 12 wins makes us 19-11 going into tourney. Need one or two wins to get to 20 for season. 20 likely gets us into the NCAA tournament. Go Hoosiers.

4 losses only usually wins the BIG, 5 losses may tie for BIG Champion. I’m pulling for you to be correct!

Both 12-6 and 11-7 are optimistic compared to most on this site. The last four games look easier than the first four. Could be something like 8-6 and then still finish 12-6. 12-6 would be 3rd or 4th in B1G for sure. 11-7 would be close to that range as well. I’ll also be optimistic and go with 12-6. Not sure how or who but I like the last half of the schedule since we should be getting better as our competitions goes down.
