Will Sheehey signs with Boulogne in France
After spending parts of last season in Montenegro and also in the NBA Development League, Will Sheehey has agreed to spend his second professional season in France.
According to Sheehey’s agent, Keith Kreiter of Edge Sports, the former IU forward has signed a deal with Maritime Boulogne in France’s Pro-B League.

The signing was also announced on the team’s official web site.
Sheehey played for the New Orleans Pelicans in the NBA Summer League, but appeared in just two games following a hamstring injury. He averaged seven points and 1.5 rebounds in 12.5 minutes per game.
In his first professional season, Sheehey spent time with KK Buducnost of the Adriatic League in Montenegro and both the Fort Wayne Mad Ants and the Los Angeles D-Fenders in the D-League.
With Buducnost, he appeared in just nine games and averaged 4.2 points and two rebounds in 12.3 minutes per game. He was released in December andsigned with the Mad Ants on January 28.
But his tenure in Fort Wayne didn’t last long as he played in eight games beforerequesting his release in late February.
Sheehey then finished his first professional season with the Los Angeles D-Fenders where he averaged 9.4 points in 25.3 minutes per game.
